What do these errors mean and how can I delete this file now?

• File can not be deleted: It's not on the source disk.

The file can not be deleted because it don´t exist on the hard drive. The file does not exist and this error is often a mistake in the operating system. To delete these "non-existent file" you should use "CrapCleaner", download and install this program and clean or use "HijackThis", download and run this program. (the Open misc tools section => Delete a file on reboot ... => file = > System is rebooted file deleted). Often these files will be then deleted (deleted).

• File can not be deleted: The source file or from the source disk can not be read.

This is a fatal mistake in the system. Your computer can´t read the file from the disk. This message appears often after (manual) uninstallations of programs. Consequently, it is best to install the deleted program and then uninstall it with the "Work/Computer (Arbeitsplatz) => Software" method again.

• File can not be deleted: Access was denied. Make sure that the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use.

Now the last and most common message. This message means that the file you want to delete, is running or the folder where the file is. Very effective in this case is "HijackThis". Download this program down and install it, click "Open the misc tools section" => "Delete a file on reboot ..." => Select the locked file => confirm with OK => Your computer is restarted and the file will be deleted in the boot process (restart). If you don´t want to restart your computer download the program "Unlocker" down, although it is sometimes not as effective as HijackThis, but can often help in this situation. Then we recommend you to download "CrapCleaner" and to clean with it.
